The Wonderful World of Snow Monkeys!

I finally made the journey to see the cute snow monkeys at the Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park in Japan. I travelled to Hong Kong in January for a week and decided to make a side trip to Tokyo for another week as it would a waste to spend two weeks in Hong Kong. I wasn't planning to go back to Japan again …

A few weeks ago, London had the perfect Spring weather, so I took the opportunity to do a Spring photoshoot with some beautiful cherry blossoms and spring flowers. Unfortunately cherry blossom season has now come to an end. It only lasts a few weeks and most of the trees have lost their petals. It was …

Life is not a fairytale…

I grew up reading fairytales and watching Disney movies. My favourite one out of all of them was Cinderella because she had such a beautiful dress and she met her Prince Charming and lived 'happily ever after'. After watching Cinderella and other 'happily ever after' fairytales, I got an idea in my head that I would …

Don’t leave things till it’s too late. Farewell Azure Window!

Farewell Azure Window! The magnificent site in Malta collapsed into the sea due to heavy storms earlier this week. It was unfortunate news, but it was bound to happen sooner or later due to nature and damage from the large number of tourists that visit it every year. To be honest, I never got the opportunity to see …

Basic tube etiquette

Travelling on the London Underground (tube) everyday makes you realise how many people lack basic tube etiquette. It's especially worse on the Central Line, which is the busiest and hottest line on the network. I know everyone is in a rush to get to work and get home, but please be more considerate of others around you. …

The importance of slow travel

Slow travelling is very important, but many people fail to realise it. Most people think of travel as a numbers game and want to visit as many countries as possible in the shortest amount of time (1-3 days) and try to visit every major tourist site in that country or as much as possible, snap some …

Travel cures depression

Depression...depressed...feeling down... Not known to many people around me, I suffer from periods of depression from time to time. It's been happening ever since I was young due to a bad childhood, which I won't discuss in detail right now, as I could go on forever and it's quite a sensitive topic. So maybe I'll …

Trolltunga, we did it!!

I went on an extended weekend getaway to Norway with some friends in August where we visited Bergen, Odda and Stavanger and challenged the Trolltunga, Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and Kjeragbolten hikes. The 3 hikes were done continuously in 3 days! This was quite  challenging and crazy, but it was worth the effort for the amazing views. …
